CHARMING CROATIA - 14 DAYS

Day 01: Arrive Dubrovnik – Transfer to the hotel
Arrive Dubrovnik International airport, Clear your immigration & Custom and transfer to the hotel. Check in & Relax. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: At Dubrovnik - Explore the Old Town and City Walls
Morning:
Pile Gate: Start at Pile Gate, the main
entrance to the Old Town. It’s a beautiful entry point and gives a first taste of Dubrovnik’s charm.
Stradun (Placa): Walk along this main
street of Dubrovnik. It’s lined with beautiful limestone buildings and shops.
Sponza P alace: Explore this historic
building, a fine example of Dubrovnik’s Renaissance architecture.
Rector’s Palace: Visit this historical building that once housed the government of
the Republic of Dubrovnik.
Afternoon:
City Walls Tour: After lunch, walk the famous City Walls of Dubrovnik. The views
are breathtaking and you’ll get a unique perspective of the Old Town, the harbor, and the Adriatic Sea.
Evening:
Walk around the Old Town: Take some time to stroll through the narrow streets
and alleyways. Visit the Franciscan Monastery and its impressive museum.
Dinner at a seaside restaurant : Enjoy a relaxed dinner with views of the sunset
over the Adriatic.



Day 03: At Dubrovnik - Lokrum Island & Cable Car Views
Morning:
Boat Trip to Lokrum Island: Take
a short 15 -minute boat ride to Lokrum, an island known for its lush greenery, gardens, and the ruins of a Benedictine monastery. Explore the Botanical Gardens and Fort Royal on top of the hill for great views of the city.
Afternoon:
Relax o n the Beach: If you enjoy
swimming, there are some great spots on Lokrum to swim. The island has a few rocky beaches and a saltwater lake known as the "Dead Sea."
Evening:
Cable Car Ride: In the late afternoon, take the Dubrovnik Cable Car up to Mount Srd.
The views of the Old Town, surrounding islands, and sea are incredible, especially at sunset.
Dinner with a view : Consider dining at the restaurant on Mount Srd or return to
the Old Town for more great eateries.


Day 04: Day Trip or Hidden Gems in Dubrovnik
You can either spend the day exploring more of Dubrovnik or take a day trip.
Option 1: Hidden Gems in
Dubrovnik
Morning: Bokar Fortress : Visit
this fort, which offers a quieter experience compared to the main City Walls, and has great views.
Visit the Maritime Museum: Learn
about Dubrovnik’s rich maritime history.
Afternoon: Take a boat trip or
kayak tour: You can rent a kayak
or take a boat tour along the coastline to get a different perspective of the city.
Evening:
Wander through the Old Town: Take your time to enjoy the Old Town at your
leisure, perhaps picking up some souvenirs from the artisan shops.
Dinner in a traditional Konoba: End your trip with a dinner in one of Dubrovnik's
traditional Konoba-style taverns, serving Dalmatian cuisine.
Option 2: Day Trip to the Nearby Islands
Day Trip to Mljet Island: Take a boat from Dubrovnik to Mljet National Park. It’s a
beautiful, less crowded island, home to saltwater lakes and a monastery on an island within a lake.
Day Trip to Elaphiti Islands: A half-day or full-day boat trip to the Elaphiti Islands
is perfect for a scenic escape. You can visit islands like Kolocep, Lopud, and Sipan, which are tranquil and offer a mix of beautiful beaches and lush landscapes.
Dinner in a traditional Kon oba: End your trip with a dinner in one of Dubrovnik's
traditional Konoba-style taverns, serving Dalmatian cuisine.


Day 05: Dubrovnik to Korčula – By ferry
Morning:
Early Breakfast in Dubrovnik
hotel: Start with a hearty
breakfast at a café in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. It’s the perfect way to fuel up before the journey.
Travel to Korčula : Today we
transfer to ferry terminal to catch your ferry to Korčula from Dubrovnik is by ferry. Ferries typically take around 2.5 to 3 hours, and you can catch one at the Dubr ovnik Ferry Port. It’s a scenic ride, so sit back and enjoy the views of the Adriatic coast.
Late Morning / Early Afternoon:
Arrive in Korčula : Once you arrive at Korčula Town, check in to your hotel or
accommodation. It’s ideal to stay in or near the Ol d Town, where you’ll be close to the attractions and the beautiful waterfront.
Afternoon:
Explore Korčula Old Town: Spend the afternoon exploring the Old Town, which is
often called a "mini Dubrovnik."
St. Mark’s Cathedral: Visit this 15th-century cathedral with its stunning Gothic and
Renaissance architectural details. Don’t forget to climb the bell tower for amazing views of the town and surrounding islands.
Korčula Town Museum: Explore the island’s rich history at the Korčula Town
Museum, located in the Gabrielis Palace.
Marco Polo House: Visit the house that is said to be the birthplace of the famous
explorer Marco Polo. Learn about his life and travels in the small museum inside.
Wander the City Walls: Walk along the medieval city walls for scen ic views of the
Adriatic Sea and neighboring islands. You’ll also pass by the Forteca (Fortress), which offers great photo opportunities.
Evening:
Dinner in Korčula Old Town: Choose a seaside restaurant for dinner, and enjoy
the sunset while you dine. Tr y Konoba Trattoria for fresh seafood or LD Restaurant for a more upscale experience with a view.
Evening Stroll: After dinner, enjoy a relaxed evening stroll along the promenade or
through the cobbled streets of Korčula Old Town. It’s a peaceful way to end your day.


Day 06: Full Day in Korčula
Morning:
After breakfast, we proceed explore Korčula’s countryside. The island is beautiful and not overly crowded, so it’s perfect for cycling or a leisurely drive.
Head to Lumbarda, a peaceful village known for its sandy beaches and vineyards. It’s just a short drive or bike ride from Korčula Town.
Stop at Lumbarda Beaches like Vela Pržina, which is perfect for a swim and relaxation.
Visit a Vineyard: Korčula is famous for its wine, particularly Grk wine. Visit a local
vineyard like Bire Winery or PZ Plančić for a wine-tasting experience and learn about the island’s winemaking traditions.
Afternoon:
Relax on the Beach: After lunch, head back toward the main island to enjoy some
beach time. Tatinja Beach near Lumbarda is a great spot to unwind with crystal-clear water and a peaceful setting.
Korčula’s Hidden Beaches: If you’re feeling adventurous, exp lore other quieter
beaches such as Pupnatska Luka or Baška Voda, where you can swim in peaceful waters away from the crowds.
Evening:
Sunset Views: If you’re in the mood for a drink, head to a bar along the waterfront
for sunset views. Caffe Bar Galerija is an excellent spot with a view of the harbor.
Overnight in Korcula hotel.



Day 07: Korcula to Split Ferry
Breakfast & Check out transfer to ferry terminal to catch your ferry to Spilt, Arrive Split and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Split.

Day 08: At Split
Morning:
Breakfast at a hotel. Today we proceed to see
Diocletian's Palace: Begin
your exploration of Split by visiting Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best -preserved Roman monuments in the world. The palace was built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century AD. Spend a couple of hours wandering the maze of narrow streets inside
the palace, exploring:
Peristyle Square : A grand
courtyard where you'll find columns and a statue of Diocletian.
Temple of Jupiter: An ancient Roman temple, now home to a small museum.
The Cathedral of St. Domnius: Located within the palace, this cathedral offers
fantastic views of Split from its bell tower.
Afternoon:
Lunch in the Old Town: After touring the palace, enjoy lunch at one of the many
charming restaurants within the palace walls. Konoba Fife and Makarun offer traditional Dalmatian food at great prices.
Riva Promenade: After lunch, take a leisure ly stroll along the Riva Promenade
(Split’s waterfront). This palm-lined promenade is perfect for people -watching, and you’ll get great views of the harbor and nearby islands.
The Golden Gate: Visit the Golden Gate, one of the original entrances to Diocletian's
Palace. It’s an impressive Roman structure with a fantastic historical background.
Evening:
Dinner in Old Town: For dinner, head to Zrno Soli, which offers a beautiful view of
the sea and delicious seafood dishes. Alternatively, try Restaurant Dvor for a mix of Mediterranean flavors in a beautiful setting.

Split’s Nightlife: If you’re in the mood for nightlife, Split has plenty of bars and
clubs. Visit Oštrina, a cozy bar in the Old Town, or head to Ghetto Club for a more vibrant atmosphere.



Day 09: Explore the Islands and Relax
Morning:
Island Day Trip: Split is surrounded by some gorgeous islands, and a day trip is a
great way to experience the beauty of the Adriatic Sea.
Hvar: Famous for its lavender fields, vibrant nightlife, and stunning beaches, Hvar is
about 1 hour away by ferry.
Brač: A 50-minute ferry ride from Split, Brač is known for the iconic Zlatni Rat beach
in Bol.
Vis: A more laid-back island, Vis is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful atmosphere
and beautiful landscapes.
A guided tour or take a regular ferry from Split’s Ferry Terminal to these islands. If you choose Hvar, spend the day exploring Hva r Town, while Brač offers fantastic beaches and a charming local vibe.
Afternoon:
Lunch on the Island : Once you arrive, enjoy a leisurely lunch in a seaside
restaurant. Try fresh fish, grilled meats, and local specialties like Pasticada or Gregada (fish stew).
Beaches or Town Exploration: Depending on which island you choose, spend your
afternoon at the beach or exploring the local town. Hvar has stunning beaches and a great Old Town, while Vis is quieter with beautiful bays.
Evening:
Return to Split: Take a ferry back to Split in the late afternoon or early evening.
Dinner in Split: Once back in Split, enjoy your final dinner at a relaxed restaurant
like Mazzgoon, which offers delicious, modern Mediterranean cuisine.
Night Walk: After dinner, take a peaceful evening walk through Split’s Old Town and
enjoy the ambiance of the Roman ruins lit up at night.



Day 10: Split to Zagreb by Train / Bus

Day 11: Explore Zagreb’s Historic and Cultural Sights
Morning:
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit the Upper Town (Gornji Grad):
St. Mark’s Church: Famous for its colorful tiled roof, this church is one of Zagreb’s
iconic landmarks.
Zagreb Cathedral: One of the tallest buildings in Croatia, this stunning cathedral is
located in the heart of the city.
Lotrščak Tower: Climb to the top of the tower for a great view of the city and, if
you’re there at noon, you can hear the cannon fire.
Afternoon:
Lunch in the City Center : Head to the Dolac Market for a fresh, local lunch
experience. You can grab traditional Croatian dishes like strukli (cheese-filled pastry) or fresh seafood.
Visit the Museum of Broken Relationships:
This unique and emotional museum is dedicated to the stories of love, loss, and heartbreak. It’s one of Zagreb’s most beloved and quirky museums.
Relax in Zrinjevac Park : Take some time to
enjoy a peaceful stroll through Zrinjevac Park, one of Zagreb’s green oases, and perhaps grab a coffee at the park café.
Evening:
Dinner at a Traditional Croatian Restaurant: Enjoy dinner at Stari Fijaker or Agava,
where you can try dishes like Pasticada (braised beef) or Ćevapi (grilled minced meat).
Night Walk in the Upper Town: After dinner, take a leisurely evening walk in the
Upper Town, where you can explore its narrow streets and see the city beautifully lit up.



Day 11: Explore Zagreb's Museums and Parks
Morning:
Breakfast at a hotel
Visit the Museum of Contemporary Art (MSU): This museum is a must -see for
art lovers and is home to some of the most impressive collections of Croatian and international contemporary art.
Botanical Garden: A peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature, the Zagreb Botanical
Garden offers a wide variety of plants, flowers, and greenery. It’s a nice escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.
Afternoon:
Lunch at the King Tomislav Square: After visiting the museum, head towards King
Tomislav Square for lunch. Restaurants like Maredo serve great food in a central location with views of the square.
Explore Maksimir Park: After lunch, take a stroll in Maksimir Park, Zagreb’s oldest
public park, which is large and perfect for a relaxing walk. The park has lakes, walking paths, and a small zoo, making it a great spot to spend a few hours.
Shopping and Souvenirs: If you’re interested in shopping, head back to Ilica
Street, Zagreb’s main shopping street, to browse local shops or buy souvenirs from the city.
Evening:
Dinner at a Rooftop Restaurant: End your time in Zagreb with a fantastic dinner
at a rooftop restaurant like Roof 68, where you can enjoy Croatian wines and local cuisine with panoramic views of the city.
Nightlife: If you're up for it, Zagreb has a lively nightlife scene. Consider visiting
Petrač Street, known for its trendy bars, or check out Ilica Street, where you’ll find cool spots to grab a drink.





Day 12: Day: Trips from Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes National Park
Leave Zagreb and head to the Lika region. The first stop on the itinerary is the picturesque watermill village of Rastoke, located at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Take a stroll through the town to admire the unique rural architecture.
The tour continues on to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This is Croatia’s oldest and most visited national park, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.
For centuries, water has formed waterfalls and created 16 crystal-clear lakes in this area. Enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the forest landscape and the lakes that are connected by a series of waterfalls.
Board an electric boat to cross Lake Kozjak (20 -minute ride) and learn more about karst formations and the abundant animal life in the park. Become one with nature, enjoy the clean fresh air, and marvel at the breathtaking views that surround you.
The guide will be with you and your small group throughout the day, and will share some interesting stories about the areas you visit and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Day 13: Day Trips from Zagreb - to Samobor:
Samobor, a picturesque town located just outside Zagreb, Croatia. Known for its beautiful old town, charming streets, and historical architecture, Samobor is a favorite day-trip destination for both locals and tourists.
The town is especially famous for its Samoborska kremšnita, a delicious cream cake made with layers of puff pastry, custard, and whipped cream. It’s a must-try treat when visiting!
Aside from the cake, Samobor also offers great attractions, including the Samobor Castle, which sits atop a hill with stunning views of the town and surrounding nature, and St. Anne's Chapel, a lovely spot for a peaceful visit.


Day 14: Zagreb Departure
